- GENERAL
The Perussähkö jatkuva (“Agreement”) is an indefinite electricity sales contract of Lumme Energia Oy.
Perussähkö jatkuva is a product of Lumme Energia Oy subject to the statutory obligation to supply.
In addition to these Agreement Terms, the Agreement is subject to the General Terms of Electricity Sales (SME 2024) in force at any given time, or corresponding industry-standard terms replacing them, and, where applicable, Lumme Energia’s General Terms and Conditions.
- DEFINITIONS
- Customer means the end user of electricity purchasing electricity from Lumme Energia Oy.
- Monthly Fee means the monthly charge in force at any given time for the Perussähkö jatkuva Agreement.
- Consumption Site means the electricity usage site notified by the Customer and recorded in the Agreement.
- Lumme, here, means Lumme Energia Oy (Business ID: 2038931-6) and any subcontractors it may use.
- Service means the OmaLumme service and OmaLumme mobile application, or any corresponding electronic service provided by Lumme Energia replacing them.
- Agreement means the Perussähkö jatkuva Agreement between Lumme Energia and the Customer.
- General Terms means the industry General Terms of Electricity Sales (SME) in force at any given time, or corresponding terms replacing them.
- RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL UNDER THE CONSUMER PROTECTION ACT
A Consumer Customer has the right to cancel a home or distance sales contract by notifying Lumme Energia no later than 14 days after concluding the Agreement (right of withdrawal). More information about the right of withdrawal, its use, and a withdrawal form are provided together with the contract confirmation.
- TERM AND TERMINATION OF THE AGREEMENT
The Perussähkö jatkuva Agreement of Lumme Energia is valid until further notice. The Customer has the right to terminate the Agreement with two (2) weeks’ notice. Lumme Energia’s right to terminate the Agreement is defined in the General Terms.
- METERING, DETERMINATION OF ELECTRICITY PRICE, AND BILLING
The local distribution system operator is responsible for electricity metering and transmission. The distribution system operator invoices the Customer for transmission in accordance with its tariff.
The sales price of electricity under the Agreement is valid until further notice. Lumme Energia reviews the electricity sales price regularly, and the sales price is updated as necessary based on the prevailing market situation in accordance with the Agreement.
The electricity sales price consists of:
- The price of electricity (energy); and
- The Monthly Fee.
The electricity sales price follows Lumme Energia’s actual procurement costs, other costs related to electricity sales, and, among other things, the effect of procurement risks for Lumme Energia.
Notification of a price change will be sent to the Customer at least one (1) month before the change takes effect.
- AMENDMENTS TO TERMS AND PRICES
The effects of changes in taxes, public charges, and other comparable payments will be passed on to prices as such. Lumme Energia will promptly notify the Customer once such effects are known.
Lumme Energia may amend the Agreement Terms or prices by notifying the Customer at least one (1) month (two weeks for Business Customers) before the amendment takes effect. Notification will be sent to the Customer’s email address, other address provided by the Customer, or via the Service.
If the Customer does not accept the change, the Customer has the right to terminate the Agreement with the notice period specified in Section 4.
- PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA
Lumme Energia processes the Customer’s personal data lawfully, fairly, and transparently. Further information and the Privacy Statement concerning personal data processing are available on Lumme Energia’s Privacy Statement page.
- VALIDITY OF THE TERMS
These Agreement Terms shall be in force as of 1 February 2025.
- ORDER OF PRECEDENCE
If there are discrepancies between the Finnish and English versions of these terms and conditions, the Finnish version shall prevail.
