Two familiar energy service companies, Lumme Energia and Oomi, are now one. We are the leading energy services company in Finland, with more than 800,000 customers across the country. We make everyday life and energy services easier, more sustainable and smoother for people, businesses and communities. We offer our customers a wide range of services, an excellent customer experience and strong expertise.

As a result of the corporate acquisition, all agreements, products and services concluded with Lumme Energia have been transferred to Oomi, as such, as of 1 January 2026. The change applies to all consumer and business customers of Lumme Energia. The merger will not affect the contracts of Lumme Energia’s customers, their terms and conditions, validity periods or prices.

We will focus on maintaining what has been the best thing about Oomi and Lumme Energia: warm, reliable and customer-oriented service. Together, we can offer a wider range of services, a better customer experience and stronger expertise – with the same familiar, people-oriented approach.Lumme Energia will continue to handle customer service and billing for the time being as before, and our customer service contact details will remain unchanged. You can still use Lumme Energia’s service channels as usual.

I am a Lumme Energia customer. Will the business transfer affect my electricity contract?

No, it will not. As a Lumme Energia customer, your contracts have been transferred to Oomi as they are, with the same prices and services, and will remain unchanged in accordance with the current terms and conditions. You can continue to use Lumme Energia's service channels as usual.

What does this mean in practice?

In practice, this means that Lumme Energia's consumer and corporate customers became Oomi customers on January 1, 2026.

At the same time, the business operations and organizations of Oomi and Lumme Energia were also merged.

What will change?

Nothing will change right now. The companies will continue to operate in parallel for a while, and the practical steps of the merger will begin. We will provide more information when we have something new to share. In the meantime, the sales of products and services will continue as usual, and customers' electricity contracts and services will remain unchanged.

Which brand will the company continue to use?

Following the merger, Oomi and Lumme Energia will continue together under the strong and well-known Oomi brand.

The brand change will not happen immediately. During the transition period, Lumme Energia and Oomi will continue to operate as parallel brands, and during 2026, all services will gradually be transferred to the Oomi brand. The Lumme Energia brand will also be gradually removed from use during 2026. All electricity contracts and services will continue as before, and customers can continue to use their familiar login details and contact information for the time being. Gradually, all communication, billing, and service channels will be transferred to the Oomi brand during 2026.

Electricity contracts

Will this affect my electricity contract?

No, it will not. Customers' current electricity contracts and terms and conditions have been transferred as they are, including prices and validity periods. The change does not require any action on the part of customers, and everything will continue as before in terms of electricity matters.

Will the terms of the contracts change?

The terms of the contracts will not change. Your electricity contract, its price, and services will continue unchanged. This applies to both fixed-term and open-ended contracts. You do not need to take any action in this matter.

Does the change affect all customers and agreements?

The change affects all Lumme Energia consumer and corporate customers, as well as energy service customers whose customer agreements were transferred to Oomi.

Will the price of electricity increase?

The transfer has no effect on the price of electricity in your contract. Your electricity contract, its price, and services will continue unchanged, without any modifications. This applies to both fixed-term and open-ended contracts. You do not need to take any action in this matter.

Can I terminate my fixed-term electricity contract?

You cannot terminate a fixed-term contract during the contract period. A merger does not affect prices or terms of sale. A fixed-term electricity contract is binding on both parties and is valid until the date agreed in the contract confirmation and terms and conditions.

My fixed-term contract is about to expire. What will happen to my contract?

We will send you a renewal offer in good time before your contract expires, as usual.

I am moving house. Where do I notify my change of address?

You can sign a contract for your new address on Oomi's website at oomi.fi or by calling Oomi's moving line at 09 2522 1100 (local call rate), which is open Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. 


If you have a valid Lumme Energia contract, you can transfer your current contract to your new address as it is, or update the contract to suit your new home in the OmaLumme service. We also provide customer service via chat at www.lumme-energia.fi, or you can call us at 029 1800 056 (weekdays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.). 

Why do both companies continue to sell their own products on their websites?

The merger has now been completed and Lumme Energia is part of Oomi. Due to competition law, we have not been able to harmonize any of the products or services on sale before the transaction was confirmed, so both companies will continue to sell their current products for the time being.

In the long term, we will harmonize our products and services. Our goal is to offer our customers an even broader and more flexible range of products and services.

How do I know whether it is better to buy an electricity contract from Oomi or Lumme Energia?

There are no significant differences between our electricity contracts from the customer's point of view. The most important thing is that you choose the product and service that suits you the best.

When will product harmonization and prices be aligned?

We will harmonize our products and services during 2026. If there are any changes to customers' products or services in the future, we will inform customers of all related changes in good time in advance.

Billing and customer service

How will I be billed in the future?

Lumme Energia will continue to bill customers who are transferring to Oomi for the time being. We will inform customers in advance about any changes to invoices.

If you are currently a customer of Oomi, you will continue to receive your bills from Oomi as before.

I have a question about my bill. Who will be serving me now?

Oomi and Lumme Energia will continue to provide customer service as before. The contact details for Oomi and Lumme Energia customer service will remain unchanged.
For billing inquiries, it is best to use the contact details provided on the invoice in question.

Monitoring electricity consumption

Where can I monitor my electricity consumption?

As a customer who has transferred from Lumme Energia, you can continue to use the OmaLumme app to monitor your electricity consumption. 

Oomi customers can use the OmaOomi app to monitor their electricity consumption.
